FREE Copy of Scholars, Authors, Leaders & Thinkers (SALT) Directory
Tool Saves Significant Time in Leadership Design
Medical, industrial and other uses of salt are almost without number. And now, CorpU is building a SALT Directory to enhance your leadership development programs and key initiatives. The SALT Directory presents a map of critical business issues and the corresponding relationship of leadership development topics.
For example, a node on globalization will connect to topics like leading global teams, the importance of global social networks, and the implications of globalization on the speed of business change. Each topic is then connected to a list of scholars, authors, leaders and thinkers (SALT members) who are recognized experts on the topic by the business community or by their peers.
Profiles on each SALT Directory member will provide contact information, a list of reference companies they’ve advised or presented to, teaching methods and approaches they’ve used to teach leaders, research they’ve done or would like to do in partnership with an organization, conferences where they’ve presented, and links to their books, articles and presentations that you can incorporate in your leadership programs or use as pre-reading materials. The Directory also will present fees and contract terms for engagements and presentations at a corporate site.
The SALT Directory provides a map of topics that are critical to business leaders, and the most comprehensive source of expertise. Those responsible for creating rich, meaningful leadership programs will find new relationships between business issues and leadership topics, and save countless hours searching for experts and materials that are relevant to their programs.
An initial copy of the directory is being compiled and will be presented to all conference participants. Participants also will be invited to offer ideas for additional SALT Members. The directory will be maintained and updated by the CorpU team, and will be published as an on-line tool to help CorpU Members.
Final Thought
You know that now is a critical time to develop corporate leaders who must navigate this unprecedented economic downturn. Leaders must learn how to find growth opportunities in new places, to preserve the current customer base, and to sustain shrinking margins through differentiated and value-added services. They need skills to prioritize projects and to select those that can move the company to a position of strength. They must be able to exercise keen judgment in downsizing activities, and optimize teams who’ll be asked to do more with fewer resources. And, leaders must become experts on innovation, the lifeblood of long-term success in an increasingly challenging marketplace.
The Global Leadership Congress will help you preserve essential leadership development activities, and even improve them, by giving you new methods, tools and approaches to design and deliver improved leadership programs that can fit the budget you’ve got.
