Diane Holman
Vice President and CLO
Diane Holman is Vice President and Chief Learning Officer for the Raytheon Leadership and Innovative Learning organization. She was named to her current position in June 2006. Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN) with 2007 sales of $21.3 billion, is a technology leader specializing in defense, homeland security, and other government markets throughout the world. With headquarters in Waltham, MA, Raytheon employs 72,000 people worldwide.
Holman provides leadership for the Raytheon corporate learning strategy aligned to the overall Raytheon business strategy. She is responsible for building the culture and practices for the future that will set Raytheon apart as one of the best in class, innovative, and continuous learning organizations; and creating a center of expertise to ensure everyone has access to the intellectual tools, information and learning they need. She also has accountability for Raytheon’s leadership development programs, functional learning, program leadership, and Raytheon Six Sigma learning. These curricula and programs provide world-class learning
and development experiences and ensure that leaders in all disciplines are prepared to take on the next level of organizational responsibility.
Holman has 20 years of leadership and professional experience in learning, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, talent management and cultural integration. Before joining Raytheon in 2006, she served as Vice President, Talent Management and Leadership Development for Reebok International LTD, responsible for executive and leadership development, performance management and talent management.
She came to Reebok in 2005, from General Electric (GE) where she began her career leading large-scale change, acquisition and cultural integration efforts, and establishing and leading the Corporate University for GE Financial Assurance (GEFA), with locations in North America, United Kingdom and Japan. She served in positions of increasing responsibility and scope including Diversity Leader for GEFA Employer Services Group; program leader for executive education at GE Crotonville; and Organization and Staffing manager responsible for leading leadership development and talent management globally for the Chief Marketing Officer and Commercial and Communications organization, located at GE Corporate Headquarters.
Holman began her professional career at Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company where she established and led the Corporate University and held various leadership roles in Human Resources, Information Technology and New Business/ Operations.
Holman earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Massachusetts/Amherst and an MBA from Western New England College. Holman is certified in Six Sigma Quality, Cultural Integration, Change Management Process (CAP™) and Work-Out™.
