Chief Learning Officer

Ed is the Chief Learning Officer for Satyam Computer Service Ltd. Prior to Satyam; Ed was the founder and strategic leader for Booz Allen Hamilton’s corporate university. In 2007, Ed became the only Chief Learning Officer to lead two different companies to number one rankings for learning. Under Ed’s leadership, Satyam was named the number one ranked organization in the world for learning by the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD). Booz Allen had previously achieved the number one spot on both Training Magazine’s global ranking and ASTD.

Ed Cohen is a learning zealot who ignites deep change. He continuously explores and develops new methodologies in tune with business needs. His extensive research on leadership in the global paradigm is documented in his book, Leadership Without Borders, published by John Wiley and Sons. Most recently, Ed received the Vanguard Award at the Fall Chief Learning Officer conference for his efforts in dramatically transforming the leadership development process.

Ed Cohen holds a Masters degree in Education from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelors degree in Accounting from University of Florida.

Ed, his wife Priscilla, their daughter MacKenzie (18) and Jasper (the schnoodle) live in Hyderabad, India.
