Emily Maxon

Emily Maxon works at TenarisUniversity, the corporate university of Tenaris. Tenaris is the leading global manufacture and supplier of tubular products and services used in the drilling completion and production of oil and gas and a leading supplier of tubular products and services used in process and power plants and in specialized industrial and automotive applications.
Emily’s role in TenarisUniversity includes coordination of the TenarisUniversity academic structure and TenarisUniversity’s five schools (Industrial, Commercial, Finance and Administration, Management and IT). She also leads the Student Affairs unit which is responsible for managing the TenarisUniversity campus in Campana, Argentina, providing logistical support for all academic events and supporting students both prior to and during their attendance at training.
Emily is originally from the United States, but relocated to Buenos Aires in 2007. She holds a Master's in International Relations from Yale University. Prior to joining Tenaris, Emily was the Director of the International House at University of California, San Diego. Her work experience also includes three years at the International Student Center at San Diego State University, almost two years in Russia at the US Embassy and a year in Japan as a teacher of English with the Japanese Ministry of Education.
