Karen Kocher

Chief Learning Officer

Karen is employed by CIGNA as Chief Learning Officer. In her current role, Karen is responsible for learning and development for CIGNA employees and external audiences including producers, providers, members and employers. Prior to this role, Karen had responsibility for learning and development for the CIGNA Service Operations organization.

Prior to joining CIGNA, Karen worked at IBM within the Mindspan Solutions organization and had the role of Global e-learning Content Solutions Executive. In this role, Karen worked to define e-learning strategies, solutions and offerings. Prior to joining IBM Mindspan, Karen was the Offering Executive of Advanced and Emerging Technologies education within IBM Learning Services.

Karen has over 15 years experience managing learning organizations, both public training centers and corporate training departments. In addition to roles leading education organizations, Karen’s background includes technical and sales positions within the insurance and financial services industries.
