Account Executive

We are currently seeking an Account Executive who can assist Global 2000 organizations meet their future competitive challenges by creating leading edge learning and development programs that deliver significant business performance improvement and competitive advantages through people. The Account Executive will propose and close membership services for Global 2000 Corporate Universities.

Responsibilities

  • BS or BA degree and three to five years relevant experience
  • Professional, self-starter, enthusiastic, high degree of self-confidence
  • Experience working as inside salesperson with high level of telephone and email activity
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels within a client organization
  • Background in corporate learning industry is a plus
  • Strong integrity, flexibility, quick learner, team player
  • A track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota
  • Experience with pipeline management, sales forecasting and account management
  • A “hunter” mentality

This position is responsible for new business development – prospecting, developing, closing, and fostering client relationships. The Account Executive will be expected to practice the CorpU sales process – maintaining an appropriate sales pipeline to achieve quota, consistently tracking activities in sales automation database, and achieving goals and action items as defined by manager.

Researcher

We are seeking thought leaders who can further expand CorpU’s world-class knowledge in several of the following areas:

  • Enterprise Learning Strategy
  • Learning Governance Models
  • Performance Management
  • Corporate/College Partnerships

Responsibilities

  • Exhibit Thought Leadership to clients regarding learning program transformations
  • Perform research by reading, networking with clients, vendors and analysts, evaluating and analyzing information and participating in research meetings
  • Create written research (e. g. Research Notes, Analyst Inquiry Reports, etc.) and deliver presentations in fulfillment of client commitments.
  • Provide individualized inquiry and consulting for clients, which involves client site presentations regarding CorpU research and findings
  • Provide sales support by speaking to prospective and existing clients via telephone, and face-to face sales calls with sales personnel

Requirements

  • BS/BA Required; an MBA a plus
  • 7-10 years experience with corporate learning strategies and new and emerging learning technology deployments
  • Ability to calculate and measure the true costs including business value and ROI
  • Deep knowledge of learning and development vendor strategies, products, technologies, as well as costs and outsourcing strategies
  • Great analytical skills - seeking out and piecing together fragments of information, extrapolating, building and applying conceptual models, recognizing patterns and drawing conclusions from partial data.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Decisive thinking with real-world expertise who can respond quickly under the pressure of demanding clients
  • Ability to work independently, and discipline to fulfill written and other commitments to associates and clients
  • Team spirit and an approach to work activities with a win-win attitude, trustworthiness, and ability to be held to the highest standards of objectivity, fairness and integrity to clients and associates
