Frank Schnäbele, Credit Suisse - Vice President, Operational Excellence
Frank Schnäbele is the Vice President of Operational Excellence at Credit Suisse Private Banking. From 2004 to 2006, he was Head of Quality and Performance Management at the Corporate University of Credit Suisse. Frank was responsible for building a consistent Learning Performance Management program to enable the alignment with business strategies and ensure the business impact of learning and development initiatives. Before joining Credit Suisse, he held senior positions at Allianz Group Human Resources, the European School of Management and Technology and the University of Mannheim. Frank holds Master degrees in Business Administration and Political Sciences. |
Rebecca Ray, MasterCard - Sr. Vice President, Global Learning & Organizational Development
Rebecca Ray currently serves as Senior Vice President, Global Learning and Organizational Development for Purchase, NY-based MasterCard Worldwide. She is responsible for training, leadership development, executive development, performance management and succession planning for employees worldwide. Prior to joining MasterCard, Rebecca held senior positions at Comcast Cable Communications, American Skandia; Prudential Securities’ Private Client Group; and Branch Management Training. Rebecca received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Florida, her Master's in English Education from Florida Atlantic University, and her Ph.D. from the Communication Arts and Sciences Department of New York University. She also received a Certificate in Shakespearean Studies from the Shakespeare Institute at Stratford-upon-Avon, England. |

Nick Howe, Hitachi Data Systems - Vice President, HDS Academy
Nick Howe is the Vice President of HDS Academy, the global learning organization of Hitachi Data Systems. He is responsible for Hitachi Data Systems’ education and certification offerings for our customers, partners and employees. In his previous role at Hitachi Data Systems, Nick was Director of the Global Solution Services division for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Prior to joining Hitachi Data Systems in 1999, he was at EDS Corporation. Nick began his career at Bechtel Corporation, and received his degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne in the UK.

Tamar Elkeles, QUALCOMM - Vice President of Learning & Organizational Development
As Vice President of QUALCOMM’s Learning Center, Tamar Elkeles is responsible for defining the overall learning and development strategic direction for the company. Tamar created the Learning Center within QUALCOMM in 1992 to meet the learning and development needs in a rapidly growing and changing high technology environment. In 2007, she co-authored the first book on the CLO’s role titled The Chief Learning Officer, Driving Value within a Changing Organization Through Learning and Development. Tamar holds both a M.S. and a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology.

Peter Degnan, Wharton Business Education - Executive Director of Wharton Executive Education
Peter Degnan was appointed Executive Director of Wharton Executive Education in December 2004. Prior to his role at Wharton, Peter acted as COO and managing director for UBS Warburg Japan. He also held a variety of senior level executive positions at Lehman Brothers, Inc, including CFO and CCO. Peter received his B.S. from Georgetown University and his MBA from The Stern School at New York University. |
Patricia "Patty" Coopersmith, National Defense University - Project Manager
Patty Coopersmith is a Project Manager and faculty member at the Information Resources Management College, National Defense University. She currently teaches the Process Improvement course within the college’s Advanced Management Program and is in charge of the Academic Partnership and Outreach initiatives. Prior to her DoD employment, Patty was an industrial engineer and total quality analyst at Westinghouse Electric Corporation, and a management consultant with IBM and PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP. Patty earned her B.S. from Penn State University and her MBA from Augusta State University. She is certified as a professional in Human Resources by the Society for Human Resource Management. |

Susan Fifer Canby is Vice President at National Geographic Society. She supports the editorial staff, business staff and partners of the National Geographic Society with a staff of 26 librarians, archivists, records managers, and indexers. She also manages the Society’s internal university, National Geographic Learning Systems, which won a Corporate University Exchange Award last year. Susan is a past president of DC Special Libraries Association, DC Library Association, CAPCON Board, and former member of the OCLC Members Council. Prior to joining Florida Power & Light, Rodney was a contributor and manager at the Disney University in Instructional Systems Design, Walt Disney World® Resort; he also held a position at Right Management Consultants. Jun Zhang, EDS - HR Consultant in Global Workforce Management
Jun Zhang is an HR consultant in Global Workforce Management at EDS. She is responsible for Executive Talent Management measurement and analysis, and provides strategic guidance and consultation for the Global Learning and Development organization. Jun has consulted in executive leadership development, talent development and management processes, and workforce analytics. She managed the Program Office for the Talent Management and the HR Merger and Acquisition organizations. Before joining EDS, Jun worked at Halliburton Company, and held a post-doctoral research position at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Drew joined Cisco in 1996 as a Systems Engineer covering large Enterprise accounts. He joined Cisco's training organization in 2000, where his first role was to lead technical quality assurance teams in support of content and assessment development. Prior to joining Cisco, Drew was a lead network engineer at Motorola's Land Mobile Products Sector division. He has been a technical reviewer of many industry publications, and earned his Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert credentials in 1999. Drew has a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Florida. |

Fabio Tonolini, Tenaris - Director of TenarisUniversity
Fabio Tonolini currently serves as director of TenarisUniversity, Tenaris’s company-wide corporate university that offers training and knowledge management services to its employees worldwide. He joined Tenaris in Argentina to lead the project that has built TenarisUniversity. Previously, Fabio worked as a management consultant for McKinsey & Company in Italy. At McKinsey he served clients in many industries on a variety of issues, ranging from strategy to organization, and marketing to operations. Fabio holds a degree in Economics and Finance from Bocconi University in Milan and an MBA from Columbia University in New York City. |
Frank Hynes, Charles Schwab - VP of Training and Development
Frank Hynes is currently the VP of Training and Development for Charles Schwab & Co. He launched Schwab's Investment Advice initiative in Chicago, and established National Performance Standards for Sales and Service personnel. Prior to joining Charles Schwab, Frank was a Senior Vice President at Citibank, where he contributed to the successful turnaround of the company’s mortgage business. Since joining Cerner in 2000, he frequently provides consultation regarding measurement & evaluations strategies, learning metrics and certification design. Todd is responsible for the creation and implementation of the core performance improvement process called ADAPT. He began his career as an educational psychologist responsible for measuring student and teacher performance in the classroom, including student IQ.
