Applications for Award Submissions

Purpose:
Corporate University Xchange will honor corporate learning units that demonstrate innovative strategies in corporate education, incorporating the organization's strategic goals into learning, and creating an environment for continuous learning in the workplace.

Who is Eligible?
All corporate and government learning units are eligible to participate in the 9th Annual Corporate University Xchange Excellence Awards. Both U.S. and international organizations are encouraged to submit entries. Organizations from any industry - such as manufacturing, financial services, transportation, communications, utilities, retail, professional services, healthcare, and government - are invited to submit entries. Education and training vendors and outsourcing or university partners may submit an entry on behalf of a corporate learning unit. However, the director or chief learning officer of the corporate learning unit must sign the entry form.

How Do We Apply?
Most of the entry process is done electronically. To apply, please follow the 5 steps described below.

Step 1:
Apply for an award tracking number by completing the Award Registration Form. The registration form is available here: CorpU Award Registration Form. Once you submit your registration form, the page will generate a unique tracking number for you. Please make note of your tracking number because you enter the number into the header of your award application(s). You will also put your tracking number on supporting materials that accompany your application.
Step 2:
Download the Word documents for the award categories you wish to enter. Each word document is formatted with the three sections of the award application described above:
  • Corporate Learning Unit Background
  • Award Category Information
  • Corporate Impact.
You will enter information directly into the formatted Word documents and return them via e-mail.
Step 3:
Assemble 3 copies of supporting documents, materials and other information. You must submit 3 copies of up to 5 supporting documents. Supporting documents can include posters, manuals, binders and other materials. Videotapes and CD-ROMs depicting aspects of your corporate learning initiatives also may be included and do not count against limit of 5 supporting documents. Note that all supporting documents and media must be clearly labeled with your tracking number and category of entry if you are entering in more than one category. Please affix your assigned tracking number and entry category on each supporting document, tool, tape or CD by typing or writing it, or adding a label.
Step 4:
Print one copy of each award essay and have the application signed by a learning executive. If you are a solution provider and are submitting a client program for an award, please have the client's learning executive sign the application. This copy will accompany supporting materials noted in Step 3.

Step 5:
Send your completed applications via e-mail to awards@corpu.com.

And, mail 1 copy of the essay, the signed letter from your learning executive and 3 copies of supporting materials to:
