Craig Crossley

Consultant of Continuous Improvement Metrics
Dr. Crossley is a Consultant of Continuous Improvement Metrics at Schwan’s University, a position he assumed in 2007. Prior to this appointment, Dr. Crossley worked at The Gallup Leadership Institute in Nebraska, where he directed the assessment and evaluation of leadership development programs for organizations such as the National Institute of Corrections, and Veterans Administration Hospital, among others. He has conducted marketing and management research and consulting for public and private companies. Dr. Crossley has also served on the faculty in the College of Business at the University of Nebraska and as a guest lecturer at the Lee Kong Chian School of Business, Singapore Management University. His research has been presented at international conferences and published in journals such as Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Vocational Behavior, and Human Relations. Dr. Crossley is the Chair of Leadership Development on the Academy of Management’s Practice Theme Committee.




Alex Stiber

Director of Organizational Development and Leadership
Alex is Senior Director of Organizational Development and Leadership at Schwan’s University, MN, a position he assumed in 2007. Over the course of a 20 year career in the field of organizational and leadership development, Alex has worked at DDI in Pittsburgh, where he led the development of online assessment technology and consulted in the areas of teams and culture change; at Lominger International in Minneapolis, where he wrote books and served as a member of the company’s management team; and consulted extensively with GE Appliances, in Louisville, and many other companies. Co-author the book Lost and Found: The Story of How One Man Discovered the Secrets of Leadership Where He Wasn’t Even Looking (Crown Business, 2004), and Broadband Talent Management: Paths to Improvement (Lominger, 2005), he has also been a keynote speaker at national conferences, a guest lecturer on organizational culture in the graduate management program at Carnegie Mellon University, and a faculty member of the Duquesne University School of Leadership and Professional Advancement.



Diane Hinton
Plastipak Packaging, Inc.
Plastipak Academy Governing Board Leader
In 2005, Diane Hinton was appointed by Plastipak’s CEO to develop and launch Plastipak Academy. Under her leadership, the Academy went from drawing board to corporate university in five months. As Governing Board Leader, Diane oversees Academy staff, programming, and strategy. During her 15-year tenure at Plastipak, Diane has spearheaded many enterprise-wide learning initiatives, including proprietary technical-skills curricula, skill-building programs for frontline leaders, and online troubleshooting tools used on the manufacturing floor. Prior to joining Plastipak, Diane held finance positions in the service and manufacturing industries. She received her BSBA from the University of Akron. Diane actively volunteers to help increase awareness and find a cure for Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EE).




Mary Singos

Plastipak Packaging, Inc.
Learning Professional, Plastipak Academy
Mary Singos works for Plastipak Packaging as a learning advisor and developer. Mary’s key roles in launching Plastipak Academy were to develop the Academy blueprint and to collaborate with senior executives to align the Academy’s strategy and portfolio with the needs of the business. Previously, she held L&D positions at the Palace of Auburn Hills and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. Mary also serves in an advisory role for improving student achievement at one of the largest school districts in the United States. She holds a BS in Human Resources Development with a concentration in Training and Development from Oakland University in Auburn Hills, Michigan.

Jeanette Brooks
Plastipak Packaging, Inc.
Learning Professional, Plastipak Academy

As a founding member of Plastipak Academy’s governing board and design team, Jeanette Brooks was the key driver in creating and establishing strategies and systems to ensure both an effective launch and a sustainable model for ongoing Academy operations. She continues to hone and develop the Academy’s infrastructure while managing program implementation. Prior to her Academy assignment, she spent 11 years developing targeted technical and basic-skills programs for various segments of the Plastipak learning market. Her background also includes performance-support work in the automotive and software industries. Jeanette graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a BBA and a Master of Liberal Studies, specializing in instructional design.


Rebecca Ray

Sr. Vice President, Global Learning & Organizational Development
Rebecca Ray currently serves as Senior Vice President, Global Learning and Organizational Development for Purchase, NY-based MasterCard Worldwide. She is responsible for training, leadership development, executive development, performance management and succession planning for employees worldwide. Prior to joining MasterCard, Rebecca held senior positions at Comcast Cable Communications, American Skandia; Prudential Securities’ Private Client Group; and Branch Management Training. Rebecca received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Florida, her Master's in English Education from Florida Atlantic University, and her Ph.D. from the Communication Arts and Sciences Department of New York University. She also received a Certificate in Shakespearean Studies from the Shakespeare Institute at Stratford-upon-Avon, England.



Jim Gillece

Chief People Officer and Senior Vice President of Human Capital Management
Jim Gillece is the Chief People Officer and Senior Vice President of Human Capital Management for AlliedBarton Security Services. Mr. Gillece oversees all Human Capital Management including Learning and Development, Organizational Effectiveness, Human Resources, Compensation, Benefits, and Recruitment. Under his leadership, AlliedBarton has risen to #42 on the current Training Top 125 list. In October 2007, AlliedBarton was named Human Capital Department of the Year for the Philadelphia area. Mr. Gillece is a feature author for ExecBlueprints in the area of “Executive Coaching: Measuring the Importance and Finding the Resources” and “Leading Teams Effectively: How HR Can Drive Company Productivity." Mr. Gillece is also a featured author for the “Inside the Mind” Publication for Human Capital Best Practices. Mr. Gillece received his MBA in Pharmaceutical Marketing at The Haub School of Business at St. Joseph’s University, and a postgraduate certificate from the Yale Executive School of Management in Leadership and Team Development.



Jennifer Olson

Jennifer Olson has been with Clarian Health Partners Indianapolis in the Educational Services department for 10 years.  She currently focuses on program development and implementation and evaluation and metrics.  Jennifer's special interests are employee retention, career development and research and analysis. Her background is in industrial-organizational psychology and adult education. 

Nancy Persson, SPHR

Vice President, Organization Development, Training and Internal Communications

Nancy Persson leads the Organization Development, Training and Internal Communications functions at Staples. During her tenure, Nancy has built and still leads world-class training, OD and communications teams that provide innovative strategies and solutions for over 70,000 associates. She is an expert facilitator, communicator, and an accomplished internal consultant. Nancy is widely recognized for her expertise in organization development and her bottom line focus on the business. Staples University was founded under her leadership; it offers a broad curriculum of leadership and management development, customized job-skills training, and culture-building programs. With her business partners, Nancy led the development of  Staples@work, an enterprise-wide intranet providing critical business and company information to Staples associates around the globe. She earned the Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR) designation by the Society for Human Resources Management in December 2002. Nancy earned her BA in Communications and Education from Boston College, where she also did her graduate work. She received a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching.


Ray Stevens

Director of Staples University & Learning Technology

Ray Stevens is Director of Staples University (SU) & Learning Technology. He oversees teams responsible for employee training and management development strategies.  Ray also manages e-learning development at Staples and serves as the business owner of the company’s portal.  His teams directly support Staples’ 45,000+ US employees and indirectly support the company’s approximate 22,000 employees outside the US. In his 11 years at Staples, Ray has led the development and delivery of training, communication and distance learning through print publications, e-mail, and CEO messaging, as well as through a variety of technology-enabled media including the company’s award-winning portal, CD-ROM, web-based e-learning, and live, interactive satellite delivery. Ray has over 23 years of experience in training, communications, and media production (film, television, and radio).


Kelly Archy, SPHR

Manager, Learning & Development (US Retail)

Kelly Archy is a Manager for the Staples US Retail Learning & Development Team.  The team supports over 1400 stores across the US developing, implementing and measuring training for all levels and positions from part time and full time store associates through field management.  The training curriculums cover a blended learning approach with facilitated courses, computer/web based training, skill drills & role plays (just to name a few) and cover a multitude of areas, including product knowledge, machines/systems/technical, and management & associate development. Kelly joined Staples in April of 2001 and has worked on several different training teams both in corporate and field positions.  She recently earned the Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR) designation by the Society for Human Resources Management in June 2006.


Holly Huntley

Global CLO

Holly Huntley is the Global CLO for CSC, a leading IT services company with a global workforce of 87,000 employees across 92 countries.  Huntley sets the strategic direction for the learning solutions and development programs across CSC and directs their CLO Council.  Her areas of expertise include leadership development, executive coaching, organizational change, performance management systems, succession planning, conflict management, e-learning, and facilitation.  Huntley earned her Master of Science in Applied Behavioral Science from Johns Hopkins University and graduated cum laude from St. Mary's College of Maryland with a bachelor's degree in Psychology.  She also holds numerous professional certifications, including the SPHR certification. Huntley was the featured CLO in T&D Magazine in February 2005.  Under her leadership, CSC has won numerous industry awards, including the ASTD BEST award in 2005 and 2006 and two CLO awards in 2006.


Bill Thomasson

Senior Manager of Global Learning Services

Bill Thomasson is the Senior Manager of Global Learning Services for CSC and formerly the CLO of DynCorp, an IT outsourcing and services company acquired by CSC in 2003. In his current role he is responsible for delivering learning solutions to over 80,000 employees worldwide. He is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Century Club of George Mason University; past president of the Washington Area Consortium of Corporate Universities and the Washington Technical Professional Forum and currently a member of the American Society for Training and Development. He holds an undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Richmond and an MBA from Virginia Tech.


Selvan Dorairaj
Wipro Limited
Sr. Vice President – Talent Transformation

After receiving his engineering degree from IIT Madras, Selvan went to IIM Ahmedabad and for the last 23 years he has been in the IT services industry with varied exposure. For the last five years, Selvan has headed the learning initiative at Wipro globally. Talent Transformation, as this function is called in Wipro today, has grown significantly to provide classroom training to 5000 employees on a given day with a team that has grown 5 times over the past 5 years. Selvan has taken Wipro to global heights in the field of learning and education by establishing strong academic tie ups with global bodies of education like Harvard, U21 Global, IIMs, IISc, etc. He has authored research papers in the area of employability and presented them in many forums. His papers are published both in the national and international journals. During Selvan’s leadership the Talent Transformation team at Wipro has won the coveted ASTD, American Society of Training & Development award four times in a row and the Dale Carnegie Global Leadership Award for 2007, the only Indian company to win this award.


Randy Chase
Head, Program Execution
UBS

Randy Chase is Head, Program Execution within the UBS Leadership Institute. His team focuses on the delivery of Group-wide “Core” Leadership and Management Development programs with in UBS.  In 2007, Randy's team delivered 16 Senior Leadership Development Programs, 5 High Potential Leadership Development Programs and 60 First Line Management Programs. He has helped establish the UBS Leadership Institute that supports the top 600 global cross-Business Group leaders in the development of individual and organizational capabilities necessary to achieve UBS’ Strategic Agenda.  Randy has also helped design and execute a number of programs focused on the top 600 leaders, Senior Leader Strategic Workshops and selected cross-Business Group initiatives, and led a team that focused on supporting leaders implementing concepts and competencies presented in UBS Leadership Institute Programs that are required to achieve the UBS Strategic Agenda. Prior to joining UBS, he was Manager, Leadership and Professional Development at People’s United Bank. Randy retired as a Colonel from the United States Army in July 1999 after serving 25 years.
