This session will provide an overview of Accenture's learning strategy, operation, and infrastructure, highlighting some specific programs and capabilities that help Accenture drive business results and phenomenal learning experiences.
Presenters:
Dan leads the Capability Development Strategy team for Accenture’s global Center of Expertise. He is responsible for overall learning strategy and learning architectures for Accenture. Dan has over twenty years experience planning and designing learning programs for many different content and target audiences. His current focus is developing strategies and solutions support integrated talent development across Accenture’s diverse workforce. Dan has a Master’s degree in Instructional Systems Design from Florida State University.
Samir Desai is the Technology and Innovation Lead for HR Talent Development at Accenture, which includes responsibility for all technologies and applications to support Accenture people in developing themselves for today and for tomorrow. This includes the Learning Management System, Performance Management System, Career Management applications, Onboarding applications, and the Alumni Network. Samir is also responsible for Innovation and Employee Experience, which means researching and piloting new technologies and architectures - for example Mobile Learning, Next Generation Virtual Classroom, and Classroom of the Future.
Samir has been with Accenture for 20 years, and he has been involved in technology for learning and development for about 16 years. He has always worked on the new innovative ways of learning: the first CBTs, Web-based training, virtual learning, and mobile learning. All throughout his career, Samir has lived by his belief to use every moment to Teach and to Learn.
