Owens & Minor, Inc., (NYSE: OMI) a FORTUNE 500 company headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, is a leading national distributor of name-brand medical and surgical supplies and a healthcare supply-chain management company. With a diverse product and service offering and distribution centers throughout the United States, the company serves hospitals, integrated healthcare systems, alternate site locations, group purchasing organizations, and the federal government.
Owens & Minor University (OMU) was established to face the corporate challenges of maintaining market position, expanding into new markets, providing new products, organizational growth, and providing exceptional customer experience. Recently, with the corporate shift in strategy from expert distributor to ‘solutions provider’, OMU knew it needed to shift its customer partnerships into high gear in order to help customers reduce costs and improve efficiency, which would, in turn, differentiate themselves from their competition. So, they created the OMU Customer Education Center.
At this webinar, you will learn about the long-term relationships that OMU has developed with both customers and supply chain partners to better understand their needs, and to improve their customers’ capabilities within the supply-chain industry so that they can offer the best possible patient care.
