What Is Leadership Brand, and Why Should You Care about It?

In an effort to improve performance and growth, a few companies are starting to formalize their Leadership Brand. In this LaTI session, Sue Todd and Lynn Lehman will share the concepts behind CorpU’s Learning Brand assessment and how they can apply directly to a company’s Leadership Brand. During this meeting, we will:

  • Learn about the importance of Brand Promise, Brand Experience, and Brand Marketing.
  • Hear from members regarding their thoughts and efforts around Leadership Brand.

Presenters:

Lynn Lehman:

Lynn Lehman is a Senior Learning Analyst at Corporate University Xchange. She lends her 12 years of learning and development experience to designing and implementing research initiatives at CorpU, and she assists members with issues regarding her areas of expertise in program design, delivery and measurement.

Lynn holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Gettysburg College and a Master of Education degree in Training and Development from the Pennsylvania State University. In the last 12 years in the performance improvement field, she has provided hundreds of hours of training, consulting and coaching in such diverse areas as transition management, human growth and development, computer skills, team building, crisis management, conflict resolution, giving & receiving feedback and performance evaluation systems. Large-scale performance improvement programs she has developed include certification programs, new employee orientation programs, 360-degree feedback systems, supervision and leadership development programs, and organization-wide ongoing learning systems.

Lynn currently holds membership status in the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), is the Programs Chair for the Central PA ASTD chapter, and has earned the CPLP (Certified Professional in Learning and Performance) certification through ASTD. She is currently working on her second master's degree in Instructional Technology from Bloomsburg University.

Sue Todd:

Sue Todd is President of Corporate University Xchange. She works as an advisor to Global 2000 organizations on all aspects of designing learning strategies, monitoring the impact of learning and development on business performance, and implementing enterprise-wide learning technology infrastructures. Sue also administers the development of CorpU research.

Sue has more than 20 years of experience consulting with corporate universities and learning and development groups on performance management, eLearning, learning content, program measurement and other HR and training-related topics. She has taken the lead on corporate university design projects with companies like Air Products, M&M Mars, Rio Tinto and others, and has presented at ASTD and Training events and other industry conferences.
