Edward Betof:

Ed Betof is the Executive Director of CorpU’s new Leaders As Teachers Institute. Ed is Aresty Center Fellow, Wharton Executive Education University of Pennsylvania.

After ten years, Ed retired at the end of 2007 as Vice President, Talent Management and Chief Learning Officer at BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company), a 110-year-old global medical technology company. Ed had WW responsibility for Talent Management Processes including BD University, HR Planning/Leadership Development, Strategic Staffing, Performance and Development Process and for integrating the worldwide processes of Associate Engagement and Inclusion/Diversity.

Ed has previously held senior functional leadership roles at BD, Hoffmann-LaRoche and the Reliance Insurance Companies. He was Senior Vice President of Manchester Consulting where he created the “Newly Appointed Leader Coaching” process and co-led the leadership development practice.

Gwen Callas-Miller:

Gwen Callas-Miller is Textron’s executive director for Global Leadership Development and Textron University. In this role, Gwen leads Textron’s enterprise talent development strategy which encompasses succession planning, change management, performance management, employee engagement, learning (Textron University) and leadership development. Gwen is an active member of Textron’s Human Resources Leadership Team, which sets Human Resources strategies and practices for the company.

Prior to being named executive director in 2003, Gwen held various management positions at Textron among them Textron Automotive Company’s director of Organizational Capability, Training and Communications. In this position Gwen directed key worldwide talent development programs and services as well as Textron Automotive Company’s Institute for Continuous Learning.

Before joining Textron in 1999, Gwen held several leadership positions with TRW Inc. in the Human Resources and Information Systems functions. She also spent several years at Kent State University where she implemented one of the first disabled student services programs in the world, and acted as a consultant to universities developing similar programs. In addition, Gwen served as an adjunct professor on the faculty of the Graduate School of Education.

Gwen earned a Masters of Education and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Kent State University. She is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt and successfully completed Textron’s Global Leadership Forum (Wharton) and Growth Leadership Program (OSU).

Sue Todd:

Sue Todd is President of Corporate University Xchange. She works as an advisor to Global 2000 organizations on all aspects of designing learning strategies, monitoring the impact of learning and development on business performance, and implementing enterprise-wide learning technology infrastructures. Sue also administers the development of CorpU research.

Sue has more than 20 years of experience consulting with corporate universities and learning and development groups on performance management, eLearning, learning content, program measurement and other HR and training-related topics. She has taken the lead on corporate university design projects with companies like Air Products, M&M Mars, Rio Tinto and others, and has presented at ASTD and Training events and other industry conferences.
