Leadership Development Best Practices Webinar: New Research from CorpU and APQC

CorpU recently completed a detailed study with Fortune 500 participants focusing on leadership development and talent management practices used for high potentials and executives. APQC has been gathering data on many aspects of human capital management, including learning practices, through its Open Standards Benchmarking Collaboration (OSBC) activities. In this webinar, CorpU's Sue Todd and APQC's Rachele Williams discussed some of the more interesting data each has collected. During the presentation, an invitation was offered to participate in a new benchmarking consortium effort on leadership development that APQC is starting, with CorpU as Special Adviser.
Presenters:
Rachele is a senior program manager with APQC’s Open Standards Collaborative Benchmarking (OSBC) organization, the “open standard” for metrics benchmarking across a number of common, standardized organizational processes (human capital management, supply chain, information technology, finance and accounting, etc.). In this role, she is responsible for all APQC human capital benchmarking, including market developing new HCM consortium benchmarking studies. Over her more than seven-year tenure at APQC, she has managed consortium studies on a number of topics including recruiting/retention, talent management, branding, competitive intelligence, customer contact centers/customer service/customer experience, shared services, and marketing. Williams’ client base has represented diverse industries, including utility, telecommunications, consumer packaged goods, and retail.
Sue Todd is President of Corporate University Xchange. She works as an advisor to Global 2000 organizations on all aspects of designing learning strategies, monitoring the impact of learning and development on business performance, and implementing enterprise-wide learning technology infrastructures. Sue also administers the development of CorpU research.
Sue has more than 20 years of experience consulting with corporate universities and learning and development groups on performance management, eLearning, learning content, program measurement and other HR and training-related topics. She has taken the lead on corporate university design projects with companies like Air Products, M&M Mars, Rio Tinto and others, and has presented at ASTD and Training events and other industry conferences.
