Learning and Employee Engagement at Caterpillar: Making the Connection
When: Thursday, December 7th, 2006
Research has shown that strong employee engagement is key to getting and keeping employees that contribute to improved performance and business results. However, despite a commonly held belief that L&D increases employee engagement, little research exists on the correlation between them. This presentation will describe a groundbreaking study into the relationship between L&D and employee engagement, and how that study is beginning to influence Caterpillar’s learning effort and take it to a new level.
- How to explore the relationships between employee engagement and L&D.
- How to develop a framework to improve or sustain your overall employee engagement efforts from a L&D perspective.
- How the four key levers in the framework can be applied to your organization to achieve greater business results.
