Kelly is a Manager for the Staples US Retail Learning & Development Team. The team supports over 1400 stores across the US developing, implementing and measuring training for all levels and positions from part time and full time store associates through field management. The training curriculums cover a blended learning approach with facilitated courses, computer/web based training, skill drills & role plays (just to name a few) and cover a multitude of areas, including product knowledge, machines/systems/technical, and management & associate development. Kelly joined Staples in April of 2001 and has worked on several different training teams both in corporate and field positions.
Nancy is the Vice President of the Organization Development, Training and Internal Communications functions at Staples. During her tenure, Nancy has built and still leads world-class training, OD and communications teams that provide innovative strategies and solutions for over 70,000 associates. Staples University was founded under her leadership and with her business partners, Nancy led the development of Staples@work, an enterprise-wide intranet providing critical business and company information to Staples associates around the globe.
Ray is Director of Staples University (SU) & Learning Technology. He oversees teams responsible for employee training and management development strategies. Ray also manages e-learning development at Staples and serves as the business owner of the company’s portal. His teams directly support Staples’ 45,000+ US employees and indirectly support the company’s approximate 22,000 employees outside the US. In his 11 years at Staples, Ray has led the development and delivery of training, communication and distance learning through print publications, e-mail, and CEO messaging, as well as through a variety of technology-enabled media including the company’s award-winning portal, CD-ROM, web-based e-learning, and live, interactive satellite delivery.
