Michelle Marquard:

Michelle Marquard is a Director with Cisco Systems based in San Jose, California. Michelle Marquard has served in a variety of leadership roles at Cisco since joining the company in 1996. Areas of service include transformative business processes aligned to supply chain management practices, a strategy for corporate learning programs and supporting enterprise technology strategy for learning as well as Cisco’s leadership development architecture and leadership development programs. Marquard's passion for innovative learning practice includes the use of collaborative learning technologies. Her interest served as the impetus for reimagining development practices; transforming Cisco University to a new paradigm for employee development branded My Learning NETWORK . Marquard currently spearheads the My Learning NETWORK initiative, which will enable a participatory learning environment that delivers improved relevancy and content quality, facilitating community and connection through principles of social learning theory. The LearningNETWORK launches in July 2009, which will be supported by services architecture, personalization, and community construct that repositions the employee in the learning experience and broadens the learning landscape for employees across the globe.

Prior to Cisco, Marquard was an Account Manager at Flextronics where she was responsible for customer relationship management of major accounts like IBM and Intel. Prior to Flextronics Marquard worked at XMR, Inc developer of excimer laser systems. Marquard was responsible for supply chain management at XMR, Inc.

Marquard is a third year doctoral student at Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology. Prior to Pepperdine Marquard earned her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in eBusiness and a BS in Business Management at Notre Dame deNamur University.

Alan Todd:

Alan is Chairman of the Board for Corporate University Xchange, the world's leading corporate university research and advisory company. While serving as a thought leader in the learning industry, Alan founded and served as CEO for two successful global learning companies. Over the past 20 years, he has won many learning industry awards and has spoken at conferences around the world on workforce development strategies.

Prior to joining CorpU, Alan was Chairman and CEO of KnowledgePlanet, a company he founded that helped launch the eLearning revolution delivering over 6 million courses annually in over 150 countries.

Alan holds a master's degree from The Wharton School and The Graduate School of Education from the University Of Pennsylvania. He serves on the board of trustees for several United States based Universities.
