The judging is over and the finalists have been announced
Awards to be given at February Gala

The judges have performed their difficult task, and the finalists have been announced for the 9th Annual Corporate University Xchange Awards for Excellence and Innovation in Corporate Learning. This year the competition was especially fierce, with previous winners and new entrants contesting for honors. The number of participating companies increased 35% compared with last year, and the total number of applications increased as well. The industry and government organizations represented ranged from large multi-national corporations to medium and small enterprises. Almost twenty percent of the applicants were based outside the United States. There were applications from Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, India, Malaysia, Netherlands, Russia, Switzerland, and Turkey.

The Excellence, Best Practice, and Exemplary Practice awards will be given out during a black-tie Gala reception and dinner that will take place on Monday evening, February 4, 2008 as part of the Training 2008 meeting in Atlanta. Judges, finalists and special guests will meet and mingle during a festive evening of honoring accomplishment, eating good food, and dancing.
