Although Westinghouse Electric Company is a successful, 125-year-old company, modern challenges have required a new and strategic approach to learning. Westinghouse University was launched in the spring of 2010 to support a rapidly expanding, global workforce and select customers, partners and suppliers; transfer knowledge from experienced employees to new hires; and enable the company to deal with the evolving market demands in the nuclear industry. Breaking from the tradition of in-person training, Westinghouse University is 100% virtual – a decision made to meet the rapid learning needs demanded by the tenfold, top-line growth projected by 2019. Recorded Webinar: Aon Hewitt: Evolving & Improving Leadership Development after a Merger Development 
In May of 2011, Aon Hewitt won an Exemplary Practice award from Corporate University Xchange for a leadership development program that had been designed and developed (pre-merger) for managers at Hewitt Associates. Since the merger, the program has been closely reviewed and revised to ensure that it aligns with the needs of both the legacy Hewitt and Aon managers. The result is a leadership development program that contains the core elements of the original Hewitt program as well as the best of the Aon programs, and now serves leadership development needs for all Aon businesses globally.
