Featured Research: January 2009 Current Concepts in Coaching Report
Coaching is acknowledged as one of the three elements of learning in corporate settings, along with formal instruction and on-the-job training. Yet, when CorpU was asked about the parameters for setting up a coaching program, we discovered that there was nothing that actually addressed key issues such as:
- Setting the program’s mission
- Deciding how participants and coaches will be chosen
- Determining the duration and frequency of a coaching engagement
- Agreeing on what measures will determine completion and success
To address that gap, CorpU conducted the Current Concepts in Coaching study and learned the how, what, who, and when of coaching programs in Fortune 500 and Global 2000 companies. To learn more download the executive summary or if you are a CorpU member download the entire report below.
