Current Concepts in Coaching Study

Coaching is acknowledged as one of the three elements of learning in corporate settings, along with formal instruction and on-the-job training. Yet, when CorpU was asked about the parameters for setting up a coaching program, we discovered that there was nothing that actually addressed key issues such as:

  • Setting the program’s mission
  • Deciding how participants and coaches will be chosen
  • Determining the duration and frequency of a coaching engagement
  • Agreeing on what measures will determine completion and success
