A systemic approach to using learning technologies has helped Cisco derive substantial productivity gains. What You Will Learn: How the three components of organizational learning: communication, training and assessment can be implemented to net bottom-line results. How Cisco uses video on demand to maintain intimacy, accuracy, and speed in accessing information. How learning technologies such as games and simulations can help to provide a comprehensive understanding of technologies, tools and terminologies. Prior to Cisco, Don spent 18 years at Apple Computer in marketing, product management, and business development roles. He began his career selling money market securities for a major Wall Street bank. Don holds a BA in economics from Princeton University and an MBA from Stanford University. Mike Mitchell has been working on producing video for Cisco for over 10 years. During this time, he has had a unique perspective on the transformation of video from conventional "Old World" delivery to new IP-based systems. He is currently acting as the Director of the Cisco Media Network, an internal group responsible for the use of IP Video company-wide. Prior to joining Cisco, Mike worked at Oracle as a Project Manager in the development and localization of Oracle's Web-based Training offerings.
