The Social Learning Experience

Here’s what you can expect when you enroll in a CorpU Social Learning course:

  • Each Social Learning course has a specific start and end date.
  • Students complete the course as a cohort and small groups collaborate to complete project assignments.
  • Once each week, students meet with the Program Leader/Coach in a virtual classroom to hear lectures, review project work, and share their learning journeys.
  • Students can go into the Social Learning environment at any time to review course materials, video and audio clips, recordings of weekly live sessions, and to post and read questions, answers and discussions with the class and Program Leader.
  • In every case possible, class projects will focus on work students are doing in their day jobs – combining real work with action learning and professional development.
  • Graduates can continue to participate as part of Social Learning community that forms around the class topic, and can interact in discussions and Q&As with future classes.

Finance for Learning Leaders

Apply Important Financial Principles To The Business Of Running a Corporate Learning Function

One of the free tools
provided with the course

Cash flow, Internal Rate of Return (IRR), P&L, ROIC and EVA — are financial terms that mean a lot to senior executives. And while Learning leaders have plenty of experience managing department budgets, they often don’t have opportunities to learn and apply deeper financial analysis to decisions about programs, or to clearly illustrate the impact learning programs are having on business performance. The Learning Leader who can analyze financial risk and return, and speak convincingly about the L&D function’s affect on organization profitability becomes a valuable asset to the senior team.

Finance for Learning Leaders applies financial principles to decisions that routinely confront learning leaders.
