Executive Education

Programs offered by various institutions to help address the educational needs of senior and emerging leaders.

Although much of what an executive needs to succeed can and should be learned through a carefully designed set of on-the-job experiences, there are good reasons to consider various executive education options to enhance someone's knowledge base, fill-in a gap, or generally challenge an emerging leader. These educational experiences can be 3-4 week subject-specific courses, longer on-site programs that cover a range of material, or even Executive MBA experiences that take place over a year or two. Developing a partnership with a college or university that shares the company’s philosophy of management can be an important element of the success of these programs.
