The typical steps for an e-Learning project include:

• Analysis: acquiring the necessary understanding from the client as to what characteristics a course must have, identifying expectations, and defining the learning requirements as well as assessing the content to be used for the course in its current form.

• Design: start with a High Level Design that outlines the requirements, the structure of the course modules, and identifies learning objectives and preliminary instructional treatments. Then, work further with Subject Matter Experts to develop scripts and storyboard.

• Development: process pulls in a variety of resources including instructional design, graphics, Flash programming, software programming, and media specialists as needed. Typically, a three review cycle is followed for specific client feedback.
