Development Dimensions International (DDI) is a privately held company which was founded in 1970 by William Byham and Douglas Bray. DDI initially provided an assessment methodology for hiring, promotion and other management development decisions for businesses. Today DDI is known worldwide as a resource training and consulting company.
DDI has grown significantly over the years. Its major turning point was in 1986 when it tested 10,000 people for Toyota Motor Manufacturing plant in Georgetown, KY. Later in the year 2000, DDI created a suite of web-enabled hiring tool screening for over 30,000 applicants daily for clients. Its most recent product launch has been the instructor-led virtual classroom training which is available online anytime.
DDI has developed expertise over various industry sectors such as Financial Services, Pharmaceuticals, Telecommunications and Retail. DDI’s client list includes Fortune 500 companies such as Boeing, GM and Verizon.
