Fundação Dom Cabral was formed in 1976 as a spin-off of the Minas Gerais Catholic University’s Extension Center. Fundação Dom Cabral’s open and in-house programs executive programs annually attract some 25,000 executives from medium and large companies. 

FDC offers open enrollment and customized executive education programs on various subject including management development, leadership, corporate governance, logistics operations, marketing, operations, and finance.

FDC develops research programs and carries out professor exchanges with INSEAD (France) and with the Kellogg School of Management (USA). FDC also maintains a cooperation network with domestic and international institutions: PUCMinas, CEBDS (Brazil), ITAM (Mexico), Universidad Del Desarollo (Chile), Universidad de San Andrés (Argentina), Olin School of Business and Columbia University (USA), Universidad San Francisco de Quito (Ecuador), Universidad Del Pacifico (Peru), Universidad de Los Andes (Colombia), ESADE Business School (Spain), Escola de Gestão do Porto (Portugal), Sauder School of Business (Canada), Fudan University (China), Indian School of Business (India) and the Moscow School of Management – Skolkovo (Russia).
