Established in 1881 by the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIP), HEC partnerships with over 118 academic institutions across 47 countries and has over 44,000 alumni in more than 113 countries. In 2001, the CPA (advanced business studies center) and the CRC (research and study center for company managers), both dedicated to training executives, merged with HEC Management to give birth to HEC Executive Education.
HEC Paris faculty comprises more than a hundred permanent professors, 48 affiliate professors, 44 visiting professors and 700 lecturers and teachers. 51% of full time faculty are international professors from 26 nationalities.

HEC is located on a 320-acre campus in Jouy-en-Josas, 15 miles from Paris and three miles from Versailles. The Executive Education Château with classrooms, a fine restaurant, and hotel accommodations is located on campus. HEC Executive Education programs are also held at two other sites in France: tin Paris and Nice-Sofia Antipolis. HEC has presence in other countries including Africa, France, Qatar, China, and Russia.
HEC Executive Education Custom Programs
HEC offers open enrollment executive programs on various subjects including Corporate Governance, Entrepreneurship, Leadership, General Management and Strategy, Change Management, Financial Management, and Negotiation. In partnership with the School of Economics and Management of Tsinghua University and the Institut Français de la Mode, HEC Paris offers Advanced Management Program in Fashion & Luxury in Beijing, China.
For international customized executive education programs, HEC partners with schools such as London School of Economics (LSE), Oxford Saïd Business School, Stern School of Business (New York University), UCLA Anderson School of Management, Babson School of Executive Education, Tshinghua SEM University, ESADE-Barcelona, Fundaçao Dom Cabral (Brazil), and Sasac.
HEC programs are offered in French and English, or English translated into Mandarin Chinese. To guide the learner towards dynamic knowledge acquisition and decision-making capabilities, HEC Paris uses diverse learning methods including corporate games, situational role plays, case studies, and simulations.
