Established in 1973, IE Business School is a for profit business school located in Madrid, Spain. At IE, over 7,800 students from 88 countries undertake degree programs and over 5,200 executives participate in the executive education programs annually. In addition to open enrollment and custom programs, IE offers higher education and online programs. The school faculty consists of more than 180 members. The school has offices in 22 countries and approximately 40,000 alumni residing in 102 countries.

The School has an agreement with Babson College to run joint executive education programs in the field of entrepreneurship, and partners with the Wharton School in the Global Consultancy Program.
