Founded in 1908 as Northwestern University's School of Commerce, the Kellogg School of Management introduced its first executive education program “The Institute for Management” in 1951. Kellogg’s school faculty has made contributions in various fields including marketing and decisions sciences. Kellogg faculty has more than 176 scholars.
Kellogg School has been running some custom programs for decades, with accumulated attendance of more than 1,000 participants. Kellogg’s recent custom program clients include the Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Society of Transplant Surgeons, Aon, BP, Ernst & Young, Eisai Pharmaceuticals, Federal Bureau of Investigation and General Electric among others.
The Kellogg School offers executive education programs at Allen Center, located in Northwestern University's Evanston campus. For students in the southeastern US and Latin America, Kellogg now offers the same educational experience on its Miami campus.

Kellogg offers open enrollment programs in various disciplines including General Management, Finance and Accounting, Marketing and Sales, Leadership, Strategy, Governance, Technology and Operations, and Nonprofit Management.
In marketing, Kellogg offers twelve different courses focusing on various aspects including marketing strategy, consumer effectiveness, product, pricing strategy, and branding.
Kellogg offers an opportunity for executives to receive Certificates of Professional Achievement by completing an approved selection of executive programs at Kellogg. This certification provides a Kellogg Executive Education Alumnus status. There is a five-year time limit to complete the certificate. The selected programs must include one required program and three electives.
