Founded in 1959, The Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University offers undergraduate, MBA, executive MBA, Ph.D., and executive education opportunities to more than 5,000 students at all levels. Each year approximately 2,000 executives participate in Penn State Executive Programs. The school serves 150 organizations from a variety of industry sectors. To date, participants from 43 different nations and 5 continents have attended its programs. Featuring academic departments of accounting, finance, insurance and real estate, management and organization, marketing, and supply chain and information systems, the college is also home to major research centers in areas such as supply chain management, business-to-business marketing, corporate innovation and entrepreneurship, and other disciplines. Today, Smeal counts more than 65,000 alumni around the globe. The Smeal College of Business is based on Penn State’s University Park campus, which is adjacent to the town of State College, Pennsylvania. The college’s executive education programs are held in the Executive Education Center and the Keller Conference Center. International programs have been delivered in the U.K., Japan, Singapore, Venezuela, Belgium and Ecuador.
