ONE MEETING YOU CAN'T AFFORD TO MISS
Mars Inc. to Speak About Solving Business Problems While Building Leaders at the Global Leadership Congress
One month into the new year, it is clear that learning leaders need to engage one another quickly and determine which talent development programs can have an immediate, positive impact on a company’s bottom line.
We’re on it at CorpU.
As the leading network for global learning, CorpU is hosting an executive education and networking session of unprecedented importance. On February 25-27, 2009, join us at the Global Leadership Congress to learn from renowned Penn and Wharton faculty who have engaged with companies for decades, providing expertise and insight through the boom and bust times. You will also have the opportunity to meet respected CLOs from across the corporate spectrum, including:
- Mars Inc.
- CSC
- CIGNA
- Shell
- Raytheon
- JetBlue
- Farmers Insurance
- Wipro
- Plastipak Packaging
- And others.
This is your chance to roll up your sleeves and tackle the tough issues with other CLOs, as well as network with the Wharton and Penn faculty. Their research, tools, and experience will all be available to you during this three-day executive education program.
The current economic situation affects us all. This meeting is your chance to learn what it takes to use learning as an engine of recovery, and even growth, in difficult times.

TOOLS YOU CAN USE
Attendees Receive a FREE Copy of Scholars, Authors, Leaders & Thinkers (SALT) Directory
Tool Saves Significant Time in Leadership Development Program Design
Salt is ubiquitous and useful in all sorts of ways, but now CorpU is giving it a whole new meaning. CorpU is building a SALT Directory to enhance your leadership development programs and key initiatives. The SALT Directory - Scholars, Authors, Leaders & Thinkers - presents a map of critical business issues and the corresponding relationship of leadership development topics.
For example, a node on globalization will connect to topics like leading global teams, the importance of global social networks, and the implications of globalization on the speed of business change. Each topic is then connected to a list of scholars, authors, leaders and thinkers (SALT members) who are recognized experts on the topic by the business community or by their peers.
Profiles on each SALT Directory member will provide the following:
- Contact information
- A list of reference companies they’ve advised or presented to
- Teaching methods and approaches they’ve used to teach leaders
- Research they’ve done or would like to do in partnership with an organization
- Conferences where they’ve presented
- Links to their books, articles and presentations that you can incorporate in your leadership programs or use as pre-reading materials
The Directory also will present fees and contract terms for engagements and presentations at a corporate site. An initial copy of the Directory is being compiled and will be presented to all conference participants.
Join the dialogue as we work together to find solutions and overcome some of the difficult challenges facing the learning industry.
