SATYAM CLO LEADS NEW EXEC SESSION AT GLOBAL LEADERSHIP CONGRESS
As we kick off the New Year, executives from major learning organizations are bracing for the on-going impact of the 2008 crisis. In response, Corporate University Xchange (CorpU) has revamped the agenda for the upcoming Global Leadership Congress to deliver the firepower you expect from a cutting-edge learning network.
Now is a critical time to develop corporate leaders who must navigate this unprecedented economic downturn. Leaders must learn how to find growth opportunities in new places to preserve the current customer base and sustain shrinking margins through differentiated and value-added services. They need skills to not only prioritize projects, but to also select those that can move the company to a position of strength. Leaders must be able to exercise keen judgment in downsizing activities, and optimize teams who will be asked to do more with fewer resources. And leaders must become experts on innovation, the lifeblood of long-term success in an increasingly challenging marketplace.
Looking ahead, learning leaders need a swift response to the crisis with little margin for error. CorpU has gathered a select group of senior business leaders - some of the brightest minds of the industry - to give you new methods, tools, and approaches to design and deliver improved leadership programs that fit your budget today.

NEW TOOLS
Attendees Receive a FREE Copy of Scholars, Authors, Leaders & Thinkers (SALT) Directory
Tool Saves Significant Time in Leadership Development Program Design
Salt is ubiquitous and useful in all sorts of ways, but now CorpU is giving it a whole new meaning. CorpU is building a SALT Directory to enhance your leadership development programs and key initiatives. The SALT Directory - Scholars, Authors, Leaders & Thinkers - presents a map of critical business issues and the corresponding relationship of leadership development topics.
For example, a node on globalization will connect to topics like leading global teams, the importance of global social networks, and the implications of globalization on the speed of business change. Each topic is then connected to a list of scholars, authors, leaders and thinkers (SALT members) who are recognized experts on the topic by the business community or by their peers.
Profiles on each SALT Directory member will provide the following:
- Contact information
- A list of reference companies they’ve advised or presented to
- Teaching methods and approaches they’ve used to teach leaders
- Research they’ve done or would like to do in partnership with an organization
- Conferences where they’ve presented
- Links to their books, articles and presentations that you can incorporate in your leadership programs or use as pre-reading materials
The Directory also will present fees and contract terms for engagements and presentations at a corporate site. An initial copy of the Directory is being compiled and will be presented to all conference participants.
