Talent Management

Description

Leaders are meaning-makers. They can set direction that others aspire to, help employees participate in doing good work, communicate ideas, and invest in practices that shape how people think, act, and feel. Too many executives ignore this fact, focused solely on where they’re going and how to get there. But meaningful work is a multiplier of employee competence and commitment, a lead indicator of customer share and investor confidence, and a factor in ensuring social responsibility.

Talent Management, developed in partnership with the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, reveals to leaders how to develop, coach, and make meaning for their workers to greatly boost their companies’ performance. The course is taught by Dave Ulrich, recipient of HR Magazine’s Lifetime Achievement Award as “the father of modern human resources”, and a consultant to over half of the Fortune 200. Ulrich is the Rensis Likert Professor of Business at the Ross School, University of Michigan, and a partner at the RBL Group.
